About the collection
The "Jacaranda Collection – After Dark" was designed as a tribute to the people who work around the clock to care for others. Doctors, nurses, researchers, support staff, and carers whose work continues long after the sun has set. Jacaranda trees are a familiar and comforting presence on The Prince Charles Hospital campus. Over the past four decades, they have offered shade, shelter, and moments of beauty for patients, families, and staff alike. When the Foundation was established in November 1986, the jacarandas would have just finished their annual bloom.
After Dark is a tribute to the vital work that continues throughout the night, often unseen, but always essential. It honours the dedication, compassion, and resilience of those who keep people safe and supported during all hours. This collection is very limited. Pieces will be added to my website as they’re completed.

Inspired by the soft cascade of purple petals beneath Brisbane’s jacaranda trees, the Jacaranda Petal Mini Tote is a vibrant little statement piece designed to bring colour, creativity, and craftsmanship to your everyday carry. The upper portion of the bag features a joyful patchwork of richly coloured fabrics in purples, blues, pinks, and gold accents, creating a lively mosaic of florals, patterns, and textures. This colourful canopy sits above a structured jacaranda-purple corduroy base that adds softness, depth, and durability. Finished with elegant rose-gold hardware and matching jacaranda-toned straps, this mini tote can be carried by hand or worn with the removable strap for added versatility. Compact yet practical, it’s perfectly sized for your daily essentials while still feeling like a wearable piece of art.
