Yes. Every MeganGaea bag is individually handcrafted by me in my Brisbane studio. From the first sketch through to the final stitch, each piece is carefully made by hand with close attention to detail.
I produce my designs in small batches, which means every bag is unique and created with the time and care that true handmade craftsmanship deserves.

What materials do you use?

I carefully select high-quality fabrics, linings, and hardware from trusted local suppliers. Many of my pieces use designer or limited-edition fabrics, making them even more special. I also repurpose and reuse fabrics where I can, and that is stated in the description under the listing.

From time to time I do accept custom requests, depending on my current workload and the nature of the design. Because each MeganGaea piece is individually handcrafted, custom work can be quite time intensive, so availability is limited.

Each MeganGaea bag is treated with a high-quality fabric protector to help guard against everyday spills, light moisture, and stains, while still allowing the fabric to breathe naturally.

To keep your bag looking its best, I recommend gentle spot cleaning with a soft cloth if needed. Avoid machine washing or soaking the bag, as this can affect the structure, interfacing, and hardware.

With normal care, your bag should remain beautiful and functional for many years to come.
