About the collection
The Jacaranda Collection – After Dark was designed as a tribute to the people who work around the clock to care for others. Doctors, nurses, researchers, support staff, and carers whose work continues long after the sun has set. Jacaranda trees are a familiar and comforting presence on The Prince Charles Hospital campus. Over the past four decades, they have offered shade, shelter, and moments of beauty for patients, families, and staff alike. When the Foundation was established in November 1986, the jacarandas would have just finished their annual bloom.

After Dark is a tribute to the vital work that continues throughout the night, often unseen, but always essential. It honours the dedication, compassion, and resilience of those who keep people safe and supported during all hours. This collection is very limited. Pieces will be added to my website as they’re completed.

This Jacaranada-inspired crossbody tote is designed with a balanced look front and back. It features a removable crossbody strap. This bag has been treated with a gentle protective spray that is water-based, fluorocarbon-free, and it helps protect the bag from light rain, spills, and everyday marks without changing the look or feel of the fabric.
